AfterWhat is included in interlock sanding & sealing?
Our process typically includes a thorough cleaning of the interlock, removal of weeds and debris from the joints, installation of new polymeric joint sand, and application of the selected sealer. The exact process may vary depending on the condition of your interlock.
How long does the process take?
The timeline depends on the size and condition of the area, as well as the weather. Cleaning, drying, sanding and sealing require the right conditions, so we’ll explain the expected schedule before your project begins.
What is the difference between matte and wet-look sealer?
Matte sealer provides a more natural, subtle appearance, while wet-look sealer enhances the colour of the pavers and creates a richer finish. We can help you choose the option that best suits your interlock and the look you want.
Will polymeric sand stop weeds from growing?
Polymeric sand helps reduce weed growth by creating a more stable joint between the pavers, but no interlock system can guarantee that weeds will never return. Proper installation and ongoing maintenance can help keep growth to a minimum.
How long does interlock sealer last?
Sealer longevity depends on factors such as traffic, weather exposure, drainage, maintenance, the condition of the interlock and the product used. We can recommend an appropriate maintenance and resealing schedule based on your property.
What does the 1-Year Workmanship Warranty cover?
Our 1-Year Workmanship Warranty covers qualifying issues resulting from our workmanship. It does not cover normal wear, pre-existing conditions, paver movement or settling, drainage issues, damage caused by other work or equipment, or conditions outside of our control. If you believe there is an issue with our workmanship, contact us and we’ll assess the affected area.
